Welcome to St Paul's Weekday Nursery School
Serving the community continously since 1960

St. Paul's Weekday Nursery School, located in Bedford Massachusetts is a secular preschool where children learn through and from play which is the childís work. The curriculum is designed to foster a childís natural curiosity, providing many opportunities for sensory exploration. In a warm and caring environment, we encourage children to question, to articulate feelings, to experiment with various methods of problem solving, to empathize with others, and to develop self-help skills. Pre-reading and pre-math skills organically occur through activities offered in play situations.

St. Paulís Weekday Nursery School was established in 1960 as a service to the community by Jean McCaffrey. Since 2004, it has been incorporated as a non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors, and is operated independently from St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

  School Program

Currently we offer 2-day, 3-day and 5-day programs, with children ages 2 years, nine months to age 6 placed in the appropriate program based on age and readiness. We are adding a 4-day program option as well beginning in fall 2017.

The school operates September through May with a separate camp option available for two weeks following the close of the regular school year. Regular hours are 9AM until Noon.

At least three field trips each year are offered for the older children.
